# Metakings ($MTK Token) ![](/files/Sg2qDXaxo2bwVVjVaV4h) Metakings (MTK) is the Metakings Universe's governance token. It is a BEP-20 token. MTK holders will be eligible for incentives if they stake their tokens, engage in the game, and vote on critical governance issues. Additionally, players will be able to earn $MTK by participating in different games inside the Metakings Universe and by submitting user-generated content. Our objective with Metakings is to provide innovative and intriguing incentives for both gamers and developers. The techniques outlined above have two primary objectives: To incentivize players to engage with Metakings while also motivating them to save their tokens in order to claim extra incentives. To decentralize metaking ownership and control. We want Metakings to be the first game that is fully owned and controlled by the players.
